Anschutz Fortner Sprint fully-equipped rifle for sale! The rifle was purchased new in June 2011 and has fired less than 600 rounds. Comes with a Larsen sling and harness, 5 clips, 2 arm bands and a new Larsen case with clear window, as well as a padded "Retro" Larsen carrying case. CANADA WINTER GAMES - CAMP 2 - JUNE 28 -30 (May 10)
Biathlon Alberta will be hosting its second preparation camp for the 2015 Canada Winter Games, June 28th through 30th in Canmore. Details here , registration closed - camp is full.
BATC SEEKING ASSISTANT SHOOTING COACH (May 8)
An opportunity for a cool summer job: The Biathlon Alberta Training Centre is hiring a part-time shooting coach. Work hours are mostly Monday through Friday mornings. The Assistant Coach will help implement shooting programs developed by the Head Coach and should be comfortable zeroing athletes and giving basic corrections.
Number of days and length of contract is negotiable, Starting date ASAP. If interested please contact Richard Boruta.
AIR RIFLES FOR SALE (May 7)
Alberta Biathlon Club is selling off club air rifles. For sale are:
Two Feinwerkbau P75 air rifles, about 6 years old but in great working condition. Each rifle comes with one 5-shot clip (magazine). $1,000 each. (New Feinwerkbaus retail for $3,000);
Four Steyr LGB1 air rifles, about two years old, barely used. Each rifle comes with two 5-shot clips and 1 single shot clip. Also comes with tool kit and a hard case. $2,000 each. (New Steyrs retail for about $2,800).
